Karin Heimberger-Preisler lives with her family in Munich and has been writing as a freelance author for gardening magazines from the Burda publishing house for 20 years.

After graduating as a biologist in Stuttgart-Hohenheim, she soon began writing for various specialist editorial departments in the plant and garden sector. Her main focus is portraits about gardens and gardeners. Three years ago she founded her label "Greenfingers Munich", under which she offers workshops and weekend bouquets to share her love of flowers with other people.
