Antje Sommerkamp is editor for the magazines MEIN SCHÖNER GARTEN, MEIN SCHÖNER GARTEN SPEZIAL, GARTENSPASS, MEIN SCHÖNER LANDGARTEN, MyGarden, MonJardinIdeal.

During and after her studies, the biology graduate worked as a freelance journalist for various nature and environmental magazines and for local editorial departments of daily newspapers. She then completed a traineeship at MEIN SCHÖNER GARTEN and was trained at the German School of Journalism in Munich. For more than 20 years, the plant physiologist and enthusiastic hobby gardener has been an editor at MEIN SCHÖNER GARTEN, where she is responsible for all topics relating to the blooming kingdom in front of the house. Her focus is on nature, animals, ornamental gardens and design.
